This is an augmented reality application that we’ve built for L’Oréal. It’s an internal tool that allows to the product creative team to experiment with almost real models of the product before creating the final product. Includes functionality to change the materials, colors, size, shapes, etc.
The objective was to develop a sophisticated software product for L’Oréal that complements and enhances the existing product development workflow, reducing internal costs and accelerating time-to-market. This product incorporated a custom developed immersive visualization software (IVS) package that allows internal product developers and marketing staff to quickly and easily visualize realistic 3D products that are still yet being developed. We’ve modeled realistic 3D models of requested L’Oréal products. These models were loaded into a custom database that is globally accessible and searchable by the custom IVS package.
